This delightful couple chose the stunning Burgenstock Resort for their wedding, a venue that has undergone significant changes in recent years. Known for its chain of luxurious hotels, Burgenstock offers breathtaking views and outstanding facilities. It’s also steeped in history, having hosted the wedding of Audrey Hepburn many years ago.

Wedding Preparations

The day began with the bride and groom getting ready separately at the expansive resort. Given its size, the chance of them accidentally meeting was slim. The wedding ceremony was held in the same charming church where Audrey Hepburn’s wedding took place, adding a layer of historical significance and character to the day.

Apero with a View

Post-ceremony, the festivities moved to the hotel’s apero area, which offers stunning views of Lake Luzern. The weather was fantastic, with the sun shining brightly, enhancing the joyous atmosphere.

Scenic Wedding Portraits

For the wedding portraits, we took a hotel van to a nearby hill, offering a spectacular backdrop of the Alps. The couple was incredibly cooperative and enthusiastic, making it a pleasure to work with them. They embraced every suggestion from me and the videographer, ensuring we captured some amazing shots.

Sunset Magic

Later in the evening, as the sun began to set, the sky lit up with magical colors, providing an ideal setting for additional portraits. The evening light added a soft, romantic touch to the photographs.
