Landgasthof Halbinsel Au Wedding

Wedding Photography at Landgasthof Halbinsel Au

My day started up in Unterägeri with the groom. He got ready alongside his best man, whose own wedding I photographed a few years back. Because of that, reconnecting with familiar faces felt great. You could immediately tell how close these two friends are.

Additionally, hanging out with them and the groom’s parents was a fun start to the morning. I also learned that the groom loves Marvel movies. In fact, check out his socks in the photos below. Even his dad got in on the theme.

Morning Preparations in Unterägeri & Halbinsel Au

After that, I drove over to Landgasthof Halbinsel Au. Meanwhile, the bride and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the venue. The whole atmosphere was completely relaxed and full of laughter. Furthermore, the venue itself looked incredible, and the styling details were spot-on.

A Quiet First Look & Castle Portraits

Before the guests arrived, the couple shared a private “First Look.” Shortly after, we took a quick drive to a nearby castle. There, we captured a few relaxed couple portraits before the main event.

Most importantly, I loved how easy-going these two were throughout the whole day. They skipped the stress and rushing. Instead, they simply stayed present and enjoyed every moment together.

A Glasshouse Ceremony on Lake Zürich

The ceremony took place inside a beautiful glasshouse on the grounds. Naturally, one of my favorite moments happened right at the start. Two guests walked down the aisle and handed out cold beers to everyone. Consequently, this small touch set a fun, laid-back tone right away.

Lawn Games & Apéro by the Lake

After the ceremony, the apéro kicked off just outside the glasshouse. The couple prepared plenty of lawn games for their guests. As a result, everyone spent the afternoon mingling, playing games, and having fun in the sun.

Dinner, Speeches & Games at Landgasthof Halbinsel Au

Later in the evening, everyone moved indoors for dinner. The night featured great food, heartfelt speeches, and hilarious reception games. For instance, they played a silent disco guessing game. The groom danced to music only he could hear through headphones. Meanwhile, the bride had to guess the song just by watching his moves. Great fun!

Venue Highlight: Hospitality at Halbinsel Au

Finally, I want to give a special shoutout to the team at Landgasthof Halbinsel Au. Even though they host events every weekend, they showed exceptional care. They were incredibly supportive and friendly throughout the entire day. In fact, they even drove us around the peninsula to help us find the best portrait spots. That level of hospitality helps every wedding run effortlessly.
