Wedding in Lugano – Katie and Steve

Katie and Steve live in the north part of Switzerland but decided to get married in the south – in Villa Principe Leopoldo, Lugano to be precise. They wanted to have Sun on their wedding day – and it was a really good decision. Perfect day – in many senses. The preparation took place at the hotel, we then drove to San Giorgio church where the ceremony was in English and French. There was a funny moment in the ceremony when the priest spontaneously asked Steve’s sister to translate what he had just said in French into English. She did a great job though! After the ceremony we drove around in Lugano and took some photos before returning to the apero at the hotel. This is when the sun came out and joined the party properly. You can see from the photo above that the view for the apero and dinner was rather fine (an understatement to say the least!). Here comes some photos from the day …
