How it all started
I stumbled into woodworking just before the Corona days (year 2020), when I wanted a simple photo frame for one of my pictures. None of the ones I found felt right, so I decided to make one myself. That small project sparked something bigger: I rented a hobby room, slowly built up my Werkstatt, and started creating more and more with wood.
For me, woodworking is a way to disconnect from the constant noise of being online. It’s just me, the tools, and the wood—designing, shaping, and building something real with my hands. Every piece I make is not just about the result, but about the calm and focus I find in the process.

Cantilever Stool
The Story
When I first began woodworking, designing my own pieces felt overwhelming. I often turned to the work of other makers for guidance, and this piece is one of those moments. The design itself comes from Semigood Design, but the process of building it was an important step in my journey.
It was also my very first time weaving Danish cord, a skill I’d been eager to learn and one that brought the piece to life in a special way.

The Story
I built this piece from oak, but I wanted it to carry something more—a touch that machines cannot easily replicate. That’s why I wove in Danish cord. Danish design has always spoken to me, perhaps because so many of my childhood summers were spent in Denmark. But beyond nostalgia, I’m drawn to the essence of Nordic design itself: a quiet balance of simplicity and style, honest yet refined.
American Walnut Table
The Story
Many of the woodworkers I admire are based in the US, where American walnut is readily available. I’ve always loved its rich color and striking grain. A local woodworker once gave me a small piece, and for a long time it just sat in my shop—I was almost too afraid to touch it.
Eventually, I gathered the courage and turned it into a table, making that beautiful wood the centerpiece it deserved to be.

The Story
My daughter needed a bedside table for her room, and I took inspiration from the ones we already had in our bedroom. I wanted to keep the same simple form but add something unique to make it hers.
The drawer became that detail—I added patterns to its front, giving the piece a personal touch that set it apart.
Arcade Game
The Story
A work colleague once gave me the hardware for building an arcade, and it became one of my very first real projects. Putting it together was exciting, but the best moment was seeing the kids’ reaction the first time they played.
We still use this arcade often—it’s a reminder of how fun and timeless old-school games can be.
European Walnut Milk stool
The Story
My wife asked me to make her an old-school milk stool, and I chose European walnut for the project. I love its character and the darker tone compared to oak.
For the seat, I tried out a new technique on the table saw to create a unique pattern—something that made this simple stool feel special.
Oak bedside table
The Story
When my mum comes to visit, she often stays with us, so I built a custom-sized bed to make her feel at home. To go with it, I also made a matching bedside table.
This project was a big learning step for me—I used a lathe for the first time and tackled miter cuts for the drawer, both of which pushed me to grow as a woodworker.

The Story
One day my daughter spotted an old woodworking magazine I had lying around and found a project she really liked. She made a photocopy of it and hung it on her whiteboard.
When I came home, she pointed to it with a big smile and asked, “Dad, can you build this?”
Unique bed side table
The Story
A client asked me to build a bedside table, and I turned to some of my woodworking books for inspiration. The design I chose was originally meant for storing magazines, but I was drawn to its shapes and angles.
Translating that idea into a table made the piece both practical and visually interesting.
Stained Oak Desk
The Story
A client asked me to build a desk and gave me the freedom to be creative. I experimented with rounded corners and gentle curves, giving the piece a softer, more inviting feel.
It was a fun project that let me explore shapes which I really enjoy.
Oak Mirror
The Story
We needed a mirror for the bedroom, and I wanted to focus on joinery I enjoy, like half-lap joints. I kept the design mostly simple, though I still added a few subtle curves to give it some character.
It was a nice change of pace from my usual rounded projects and a chance to highlight clean lines and craftsmanship.
Big 2x1meter oak mirror
The Story
Go big or go home—I wanted to take on a large oak mirror. I recycled an existing mirror and built a clean, stylish oak frame to give it new life.
Working on a piece of this size was a fun challenge and really rewarding when it came together..
Oak Bar Stool
The Story
When my mum visits, we need an extra chair in the kitchen. I came across a design with interesting joinery connecting the three legs and decided to make an oak stool based on it.
The piece is simple but sturdy, and the unique joinery gives it character.
Backgammon
The Story
One of my toughest challenges, but also one of the most meaningful. I love playing backgammon with my wife, and for Christmas I decided to build her this set.
The mountain pattern on the front is inspired by a view we often enjoy together in the mountains—a place that’s special to us.
Oak Bed

I received woodworking plans as a Christmas gift from my mum (by FourEyes), and I followed them closely to build this oak bed.
It was a great learning experience, and I’m really happy with how the piece turned out—sturdy, simple, and full of character.

The kids needed a small box to store their toys, so I built this little one. It gave me a chance to add some personal touches and was one of the few times I used paint in my work.
It’s simple but fun, and the kids love having a special place for their things.

Europan Walnut Stool with danish cords
The Story
After years of sawdust and shavings, you eventually stop just building furniture and start finding your own voice. For me, that voice lives in the balance of Scandinavian simplicity and the ‘human element.’
This chair is the result of that search. It isn’t factory-perfect, and that is exactly the point. From the five hours of rhythmic, peaceful weaving to the visible joints—each slightly unique and intentionally ‘imperfect’—this piece embraces the touch of the hand over the precision of the machine. It’s a celebration of the process as much as the finished form.”
The workshop
It may not be much, but this is my sanctuary—a place where I can disconnect from the world. Having a space to create with my own hands is a privilege I truly cherish. Time seems to slip away effortlessly here.
