Every wedding has its own charm, and this one was no exception. From the lovely ceremony in Baar to the stunning evening reception in Zug, this wedding was full of special moments, beautiful locations, and joyful celebrations. Here’s a look at how the day unfolded.
A Day That Started With Unique Personal Touches
The wedding day began at the couple’s home in Baar, where the bride got ready with her closest friends and family. Small, thoughtful details added a touch of personal charm. Her bouquet featured delicate white pearls, and inside the wedding rings, there was a special engraved message that spoke to the couple’s journey together. One of the most touching moments was when the bride read her vows, ending with a heartfelt promise that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
A Beautiful Ceremony at Katholische Kirche St. Martin, Baar
From the bride’s home, we headed to Katholische Kirche St. Martin in Baar for the ceremony. The couple had arranged for a stylish Mercedes to drive the bride to the church, but there was a slight hiccup—the car broke down on the way! Thankfully, the best man was quick to act and resolved the situation smoothly. It must have been a nerve-wracking moment for the groom, waiting at the altar and wondering, “Where is the bride?”
This was my first time photographing a wedding at Katholische Kirche St. Martin, and it was a wonderful experience. The church’s beautiful architecture provided a stunning backdrop for the ceremony. A delightful surprise was the couple’s dog, who had the best seat in the house, right up front with the bride and groom. It was a sweet and personal touch that made the event even more memorable.
Enjoying the Sunshine and Ice Cream at Cham Villette Park
After the ceremony, guests gathered outside to enjoy the warm weather and some refreshing ice cream. The couple then took a long limousine to Cham Villette Park for some portrait photos. The park’s serene atmosphere, lush greenery, and lake views provided the perfect setting for romantic, timeless images of the couple.
A Sunset Reception at Theater Casino Zug
The evening continued at Theater Casino in Zug, a venue that perfectly blends elegance and comfort. As the sun slowly set over the lake, guests mingled and enjoyed drinks, and we gathered everyone for some group photos. I was especially impressed by the stylish outfits of the guests, which made the group shots vibrant and fun.
As the night unfolded, everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner, plenty of drinks, and lots of dancing. The dance floor stayed lively, with guests of all ages joining in to celebrate. It was a fantastic way to end a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
