Danka & Miguel – Zurich – Sept 8th 2012
I met Danka and Miguel when they were expecting their baby boy Matej. We ended up taking some family photos when Matej was born before the wedding. A great way to get to know each other before the actual wedding day. Some of the photos from that shoot can be seen: here. The wedding day started with me going to Miguel’s parents place where we grabbed some preparation photo. Miguel is a sharp looking guy so he made my job very easy. After that I went to the place where Danka got prepared. Danka is very easy going and chill. They had some pizza with champagne whilst getting ready.
The ceremony took place at Kirche Neumünster and so did the apero. It had a lovely garden and park next to it as well. Great to take photos.
They also wanted some city photos and something different. We ended up in a parking garage. Which turned out to be very cool.
The evening took place at the restaurant Zunfthaus zur Saffran – right in the middle of Zurich. The dining room was beautiful and so was the decoration for the wedding. See the photos below to see what I mean.
What I particularly liked of this wedding were the wedding guests – they spontaneously started to dance in the evening. The first dance had not taken place but they went for it anyway. Afterwards they were all impressed by the great Salsa dance Danka and Miguel had put togther. It looked great. Anyway, here are the photos from their wedding day.
