Schloss Schadau at Thun was the place where Riina and Patrick got married 10th of August. It was through Barbara (wedding planner) at ‘Lovely Events‘ that I got the opportunity to meet this lovely couple. We first met in Zurich in the beginning of the year – these guys are very relaxed and easy going. I could already then see it would be an amazing wedding. It started off by them getting ready at the beautiful Schloss Schadau. The ceremony took place at Schlosskirche Spiez – the location was great! Just on top of a hill next to a lake. After the wedding there was a boat ride, in perfect weather, back to Schloss Schadau where the apero and dinner took place.

Initially I thought the dance floor at Schloss Schadau would be a bit small but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise – this forced people to get really close to each other and got lots of cool dancing shots. It also helped that the DJ brought his own lighting (this is something I recommend for people getting married – get nice light for the evening).

On this day I also worked together with the talented videographers from Corsini Films. I haven’t worked together with many videographers in Switzerland but these guys are very professional and easy to work with – which is important when one has photography and videography at the wedding.

Barbara, the wedding planner, did a great job. Everything was very smooth and the setup was great. Also as a photographer there were a lot of details that added to the wedding.
