I bought my first camera 2003 – it was a film camera but due to the slow learning curve (you took a photo and one week later you saw the result) and the COST of developing I changed to digital photography pretty fast. At the time facebook/twitter/blogs and so on was not very popular or didn’t even exist. I joined photo.net which is a great website for inspiration and also the forum is very good for asking any questions you might have.
Anyhow, I still have quite a few photos at photo.net even though they are not that up to date. I have not migrated them to my website or blog as I have changed focus (to wedding photography) but it is still very nice to look back at the portfolio and see the development curve.
This is my first ever photo:
I have a total of 145 photos and the quality varies quite a lot – but you can see it here: http://photo.net/photodb/member-photos?user_id=714723&include=all&unlimit=1
