Wedding in Hergiswil
Yumie from Japan and Benjamin from Switzerland. Wedding in Hergiswil. They got married on a sunny day of 20th of August 2011 in the lovely town Hergeswil. Their love blossomed in Japan, and continued long distance whilst Benjamin was in Germany and now they are heading to Switzerland. Talk about an international couple. The wedding was great as it was a nice mix of japanese and swiss traditions. They were some great wedding details such as super advanced origami (check out the pictures) and also integrated to the wedding menu itself.
They also had a great wedding idea at the evening – they had 12 cards hanging on a piece of string. Each card represented one month and had an action written down on it. During the evening the guests had to take one card and then do the action on the month written down. This meant the couple had something to look forward to each month and also be reminded of their wedding for one year ahead.
It was also great fun to see that Yumie’s parents started with videography really early on so everyone could see clips from when she was born up till today. Photography and videography really becomes price less as the time goes on.
How does a wedding in hergiswil look like? Well, the preparation & dinner took place in the Seehotel Pilatus, for the portraits we walked around in hergiswil town which offered a lot of variety in a short space, the wedding took place in Hergiswil Kirche and the apero at Chilezentrum.
