Here comes my 2nd -ramble-of-the-week…..it will be a bit about football, a petition I support (deadline is TODAY), book recommendation, corporate photography and some video clips. If you got any video clips or stories to share then let me know and I will include them.
I got my first corporate event to shoot. 100% because of networking. When the talent video- and photographer Jess Morgan arrived to Switzerland we got in touch via englishforum. I had a wedding to shoot once and contacted him to be my 2nd shooter but it didn’t work out. Last week Jess contacted me and said he couldn’t do an corporate event. Instead, I got it so next week on Saturday I will go to Geneva to shoot some board of directions, VIPs and royalties for the World Muslim Foundation.
Today I read some very nice comments from the guests of my last wedding. They wrote:
“Very impressive wedding dress – you look fabulous. And your wedding photographer is rather impressive. That all looks wonderfully fairy-tale: congratulations!”
“These photos are absolutely amazing – thanks so much for an awesome day”
“The photos are simply stunning”
“Fantastic photos (great job magnus!)”
“The sneak previews of the pics are amazing!”
Last week I finished the millenium triology of books by Stieg Larsson. Funnily I heard about this swedish author via xenia’s mum from South Africa and my Alberto who is spanish. They recommended it and now I can recommend it. I am not a heavy reader but I went through 1500 pages like it was a newspaper. I was simply hooked! The movies are also out now but it cannot be compared. I remember finishing the first book and at the same night I watched the movie. Huge difference! You do not get to know the characters that well. I guess when you read a book you hear and imagine everything with your own voice and direction. Basically you are the director of the movie in your head.
Here is a crazy goal – double Bicycle Kicks!!
Here is another video – some wicked flips! Check it out! (new window).
A library in the area where I am coming from is closing down – which is a HUGE shame. The area is known for its amount of foreigners (99%) and the difficulties in the area. But maybe it has to do with the fact that politicans are shutting down vital areas for kids to hang around! Sign the petition please: http://www.namnlista.se/radda-hammarkullens-bibliotek
This photo was taken at work. I like this one since it seems a bit creative/artistic which is pretty hard in a grey office! I got a post with some more photos and they can be seen here (new window)
