About Me

My name is Magnus Bogucki and I am Photographer/fotograf based in south of Switzerland in a village called Morcote – just outside Lugano. I am specialising in Wedding Photgraphy – (Luzern, Zürich, Bern, Zug). So in german: Ich bin ein Fotograf für die hochzeit, der in Morcote, Ticcino Leben. Spezialisiert auf Paare will in Traumlage zu heiraten.

Originally I was born in Sweden but both my parents are Polish. However, for the last 10 years I have been living in countries such as Norway, England, USA and Australia. My photography passion started 2003 in Colorado. But things have changed since then…..

Wedding photography (“Fotograf für die hochzeit”) is no longer my passion – but my lifestyle. Every wedding is unique and having the opportunity to capture and “tell” the unique story is what I truly love. The fact that people are happy and celebrating makes it so much easier.

Capturing “moments” during the wedding is what drives me. One photo that tells a story or a feeling. It freezes a moment and emotion with the potential of being told and evoked in many years from today. My style of working is to blend in with the people and capture the feeling, mood and the ambiance of the entire wedding. My aim is for the wedding couple is to look at the photos and re-live their special day.

I am honored to have been accepted to Junebug’s exclusive network of the world’s best wedding photographers. I can also be found on Google+ or Facebook or Twitter.

In the beginning of year 2011 I was informed that my photo won an award for being among the world’s 50 best wedding photos of year 2010 by Junebug – it was a huge honor! This then repeated itself this year! So I have now won 2 years in a row!

I have also won 4 international awards from AGWPJA.
