Yvonne and Pascal got married 28th of April in Meggenhorn Castle. The entire week it was raining but on the wedding day it was simply perfect – really warm along with a breeze every now and then. I met Yvonne at the castle where we took some portraits of her and then Pascal arrived (whilst Yvonne was hiding) and I took some portraits of him. When I asked Pascal to stand in front of the camera then you could immediately see what his profession was – police officer! Based on his pose I presume he is not sitting behind a desk. On the photos below you will also see several other police-related stuff. For example, the car they left with from the castle to seeburg hotel was with an actual police car – and I think the person driving even had a bulletproof vest!

They were very cool couple to work with and they were up for all challenges – below you can even see them attempt a “dirty dancing” lift! We also came to the hotel 60 minutes before all the guests and that allowed us to be creative. I had a great time!

In my posts I usually merge photos but this time I have decided to show all photos individually (except the detail shoot). I think each photo really says something about this wonderful wedding. Enjoy!

Yesterday I attended my first wedding which had products from our wedding shop Kissloud (http://kissloud.ch). It was really great to see. Yvonne and Pascal did a great job – here are some sample photos.

Contrinex turned 40 years! The company was founded and lead by Peter Heimlicher for these years. Last weekend there was a celebration for the entire company and it took place in the restaurant Punkt in Fribourg.

It started with a welcome drink in one room along with some speeches, then the dinner took place (thai food!), music performed by Honeypie and some very entertaining gymnastic/joggling act.

This is the 3rd pregnancy shoot with Patri – she is now 7 months pregnant. Only 2 more to go! This time the shoot was a bit more casual and not 100% focus on the belly.

Wish you all a happy easters. We are celebrating by being in Morcote and painting the baby room. I can see on facebook that it is snowing (!) in the north, in poland it was -4 this morning and in Sweden it is also snowing. The weather is slightly different in Morcote.

Ingrid & Martin was the first wedding of 2012! It took place 17th of March in Brigels, which also happens to be the same date that they first time met. Brigels is in the middle of nowhere on top of a mountain. The preparation/apero and party took place at the lovely hotel “La Val” and the ceremony was a walking distance from the hotel. First I started with the preparation and it was lovely to see all the details that they had prepared. Everything was thought through – hopefully this is represented in the photographs below. In terms of weather it was all a bit mixed, very sunny before the preparation, rain during the ceremony and cloudy afterwards. However, the guests attended were not bothered at all – they were all having a good time with fun games that were arranged and good food that was served.  Anyway, without further ado, the wedding photos…..

Miguel and Danka became parents for the first time – they got a lovely son. His name is Matej. This was my first newborn photo shoot so I stepped into unknown territory and was a bit nervous before the shoot. However, when I arrived and met the newly formed family it was easy. You could see the happiness and love!

I also have the honour of shooting the wedding of Miguel and Danka and I already now know that I will get some great photos with them! Look forward to it a lot!

The shoot took place in Zurich, Switzerland.

I think it is hard to escape the fact that my fiancee is pregnant – just last month I did a “5 month” post. Now a month has passed and the belly is growing quickly! Last time I had to use the right angles to accentuate the belly. This time it was not needed. And we still have 3 more months to go! Anyway, this time I wanted it all in black and white. I hope you will enjoy them…

Here are some family portrait photos of John & Alison and their son Euan – they came all the way from Scotland.. I used to work together with John at Sun Microsystems in Colorado USA. Funny how time flies by! 10 years ago we were in Colorado and now we met again. Already in the states John was known for his programming skills – if you guys have an idea you want to realise in terms of an apple application or web application then he is the guy to contact – check out his work at: http://www.minioak.com/. I have personally worked with him on our wedding shop (kissloud.ch) and I cannot recommend him enough. Sharp guy!

Anyway, it was great to meet after 10 years and meet his wife Alison and little kid Euan. Euan is a kid who walks around with a constant smile (at least when the camera is pointing at him). But like they say, behind every great man (or in this case, kid) there is a woman, Alison. Lots of smiles and laughs which made the job for me very easy! First a spontaneous time inside the flat and then outside in Morcote.

If you follow my facebook or this blog then I am sure you know that you will know that Patri is pregnant and we will have a son by mid June. We can see the stomach growing almost every day. This is a beautiful period in the pregnancy I think! So of course I had to pick up the camera, use the natural light in our room and snap a few photos. I hope you enjoy them – I think they are beautiful!
